What a resume website should do

Recruiters and clients skim. A good online CV puts the essentials, who you are, what you have done, and how to reach you, on the first screen, then lets people dig deeper into projects and writing if they are interested.

The best resume themes give you:

Structured sections for experience, skills, and achievements that are easy to scan.
Project pages so you can show real work instead of listing it.
A blog to share what you know. It is the easiest way to show expertise and rank for your name.
Testimonials and clients for social proof.
A contact form so opportunities can reach you directly.

Twnty: a resume, CV, and blog theme for Astro

Twnty covers all of the above in one theme. Its 13 sections include intro, achievements, services, experience, skills, testimonials, projects, blog, clients, pricing, FAQ, and contact. Projects get dedicated single pages with next and previous navigation, the blog runs on MDX and Markdown, and an AJAX contact form sends messages straight to your inbox.

If you want a more visual, project-first site, compare it with the other Astro portfolio themes.

Getting your CV online

Follow the Twnty documentation to install the theme, fill in your experience and skills, and deploy it for free on Vercel, Netlify, or Cloudflare. Then connect your own domain, such as yourname.com, so your CV is the first result when someone searches for you.

Frequently asked questions

Why use a resume website instead of a PDF?

A resume website can be found on Google, shared with a single link, updated in minutes, and can show things a PDF cannot: live projects, writing samples, testimonials, and a contact form. Most people keep both, and link to the PDF from the site.

What sections does the Twnty resume theme include?

Twnty ships 13 ready-made sections: Intro, Achievements, Services, Experience, Skills, Testimonials, Projects, Blog, Clients, Pricing, FAQ, Contact, and a 404 page. You can hide any section you do not need.

Do I need coding experience to set up a resume theme?

Not much. Your details live in content and config files, and the documentation walks through installing, editing, and deploying step by step.

Can I use a resume theme for freelance work?

Yes. Twnty includes services, pricing, testimonials, and contact sections, so it works as a freelancer or consultant website as well as a CV.
